What it does
Adds searchable filtering to the model selector by provider, model name, and model ID; spaces act as wildcards.
Best for
- Users with large model catalogs who need to filter the selector by provider, display name, or model ID.
- Users who benefit from case-insensitive partial searches where spaces can bridge punctuation or other characters.
Not ideal for
- Users with only a few models or who already find models quickly in the standard selector.
- Workflows needing changes to model routing or credentials; this client-only overlay changes neither.
README
dsh-model-search
Searchable model filtering for the DeepSeek Harness model selector.
Open the model selector and search by provider name, model name, or model ID. Search terms are case-insensitive; spaces act as wildcards, so GPT 6 matches GPT-5.6 and GPT-6.
